Unity change the anchoring of a cube8/5/2023 ![]() Please note there are some slight changes between version 2.7.0 and 2.9.0 of Azure Spatial Anchors SDK and the tutorials you are following are currently being updated so we differentiate function calls depending on what version you are using. this is a new tutorial that I follow, don't know why Microsoft has a lot of tutorial about creating Azure Anchor. ![]() If (status.UserFeedback = SessionUserFeedback.None) return įeedback = $"Feedback: ") Īll in all. Start is called before the first frame updateĬloudSession = new CloudSpatialAnchorSession() Ĭ = "xxxxx" Ĭ = "xxxxx" Ĭ = "" ĬloudSession.SessionUpdated += (object sender, SessionUpdatedEventArgs args) => Here is my script: public GameObject ARAnchor NullRefrenceExcepetion: Object reference not set to an instance of an object why?: cloudNativeAnchor.NativeToCloud() Īnd in here: CloudSpatialAnchor cloudAnchor = cloudNativeAnchor.CloudAnchor It seems there is an issue in here, they return null reference. If its ok, then we unparent the AR Object(to let it stay in place) and CreateAnchor() and then there comes the issue. and then it starts the session.Īnd then wait another 10 seconds(the purpose for the RecommendedForCreateProgress). So basically when the hololens app starts the AR Object is parented to the camera in front of it, so it will move as you move your head I just made it easier by using Coroutine instead of tap input to generate the AR Object. I still use the same project but created a difference scene, configure scene to run MR Is this fixable? can anyone help me get through this?Ĭreated this script following the new given tutorial: The very last to log is: "tastInpt" which means getting the result is the problem. I divided the script and added logs so I can see which part is the problem: ![]() I check the codes of its corresponding function and this is it:Īs you may notice it has an error, this is the actual script from the package I download, but all I had to do to fix this is add ".Result" after ".GetPointer()" When I tap for create Azure button, it just crash but when I check the Debug version, it didn't actually crash cause there were no actual errors, I think it just keeps loading and/or working on the current main thread because everything disappeared when I tap the create Azure Button. Which I configured as I keep getting errors and fixing it along the wayĪnd was able to deploy, test and follow the in-device tutorial:Ĭreate Azure Anchor (creates an anchor at the location of the cube). There were some necessary configurations and steps not included in the tutorial like:
